CONVENIENT ASSUMPTIONS & BELIEFS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I thought it pertinent to briefly cover presuppositions, or if you like assumptions and convenient beliefs that should be adopted in customer service. As a coach and trainer I believe we all have the capacity for change. If I didn’t believe this; I would not be able to evoke change in my clients. Lets begin with our beliefs. They obviously structure our reality as we move through life – however they are not necessarily true. Beliefs can be dis-enabling, however we can change limiting beliefs to be more enabling, so as to produce better results. Everyone has the ability to change and we all have great potentiality – sometimes of which we are unaware. To produce the results we want we need to uncover the beliefs that hold us back. So besides our beliefs, the values, and attitudes we have, filter our external reality, and come into our subconscious, creating…

RAPPORT – IN BUSINESS!!!

The first 4 Minutes… Research indicates that 4 minutes is the time it takes to form an impression. And once formed, that impression is very difficult to change. After 4 minutes you will have made up your mind about that person and that initial impression will stay until you are proved wrong. But of course YOU create an impression about yourself every time you meet someone for the first time - as will inevitably be the case in your customer service capacity. If you start badly it is going to be an uphill battle all the way - all the messages are negative. If you start well - it is relatively plain-sailing, the messages are all positive. When you meet face to face all sorts of parameters will be measured – consciously and subconsciously... Your appearance / grooming. This will be noticed first. Dress appropriately - today’s business environment is…

RAPPORT

Through this blog I would like to pass on some valuable information acquired through my sales, life coaching, customer service, and NLP practitioner training - which will help drive home the importance of building rapport. Rapport is the ability to connect with others in a way that creates a climate of trust and understanding. It is also the ability to appreciate one another’s point of view (not always to agree with it), to be on the same wavelength, and to understand and accept one another’s feelings. Rapport is essential for any form of communication to take place – unless, of course, you don’t want to make progress! You are more likely to buy from, agree with, support and stay with someone to whom you feel connected than you are when this is not the case. You can build rapport face to face, over the phone, via email, through text messages,…

BELIEF

BPAR PRINCIPLE - Life & NLP Coaching strategy!!! I hope to explain a simple concept of what belief does; through my BPAR principle, illustrated above and explained below. What is the holy grail between the person taking action and not? It all boils down to one word – BELIEF or certainty. When someone is absolutely certain about something changing their life they believe! When you kind of believe you are certain...you will never do what is required. The middle ground of no mans land of MAYBE, will never produce the results. So how do you get to follow through? MINDSET; Belief about your potential, Potential – is something we all have, to a greater or lesser extent, Action that you take, will determine the results you get, Results acheived, will reinforce your belief, Belief will in turn, enhance your potential. This can either be an upward or downward spiral, and…

YOU entering a coaching relationship with me…

This relationship is based with the aim; of listening and focusing with no judgement on YOU. It is essentially about YOU, whereby we elicit, your goals and dreams in life, and go about helping YOU to achieve them. Intent of understanding will be my moral compass; to all that is being communicated to me - by YOU. I will be curious about; what you really want, what makes you tick, and how you align with your values. Purpose will be our target; I will hold the flag at the top of the hill, and encourage you to press on so as to celebrate your victories, and help you learn from your setbacks. Transparency and truth will be our precursor; to the truth about where you are strong, and most of all – where you sell yourself short. Through transparency I will know what you can handle, and see how large…
